TOWARDS ECONOMIC AND RESPONSIBLE LIGHTING

In France, according to ADEME, lighting is one of the most energy-intensive items, especially in offices, with 6 TWh per year.

It is high time to change our consumption patterns and opt for clean, economical and intelligent solutions.

Yes but which ones? LED, bioluminescence, photoluminescence, solar lighting, motion detector...many alternatives are available to you! Alternatives are also mandatory for new buildings with the 2012 regulations.

Today Takagreen offers you a detailed article on these different means of lighting, without forgetting the aid you can benefit from.

TO BIOLUMINESCENCE

This solution is the result of a chemical reaction during which the chemical energy of a living organism (plants, animals) is transformed into light energy.

Thanks to this technology, our partners WOODLIGHT et GLOWEE, experts in bioluminescence, aim to make cities greener by offering aesthetic, durable and 100% recyclable lighting.

Its use is mainly urban with the objective, in the long term, of definitively replacing the current streetlights.

A technology that is also beneficial for well-being at work since it promotes employee relaxation. It can therefore be used for rest rooms.

PHOTOLUMINESCENCE

Unlike bioluminescence, photoluminescence is of mineral origin.

Indeed, minerals are capable of absorbing sunlight or artificial light for a short time and then releasing it for around twelve hours in the dark.

ELDOM our partner, a specialist in this field, offers a complete range of photoluminescent, secure, energy-free solutions that fully respect the environment.

This range is characterized by the installation of completely autonomous photoluminescent gravel paths which can restore light for up to 12 hours.

LED LIGHTING

LEDs are known for their low power consumption. Indeed, conventional light bulbs consume up to 6 times more energy. The LED, which consumes much less energy, has a longer lifespan. It therefore appears to be the most efficient economic and ecological alternative for the interior of buildings.

Switching to LED lighting is one of the first actions to take to considerably reduce your electricity bills and make your building part of a responsible and sustainable dynamic, all the more so if you add presence detectors which allow you to avoid energy waste.

SOLAR STREET LAMPS

To light its exteriors responsibly, Takagreen recommends its partners TOHAR, LUM’IN, NOVEA ENERGIES, FONROCHE LIGHTING, which offer cleaner, cheaper and smarter solar street lights.

ADEME AID

Notice to SMEs! In order to support your efforts to install eco-responsible lighting, ADEME has set up several aids:

  • 50€ reimbursed for each light point changed by an indoor or outdoor LED module
  • €100 for each natural light pipe

These offers are eligible for all SMEs, but they will not exceed 80% of the total amount of investments.
