03 October “ACTING EVERYDAY” WITH TAKAGREEN
The European Week for Sustainable Development (SEDD) takes place from September 18 to October 08, 2022. A highlight of mobilization as well as awareness of 17 Sustainable Development Goals which has as its theme this year 2022 "Acting on a daily basis ».
For this occasion, we would like to come back to the concrete actions that we carry out day by day to promote the ecological transition.
Our platform Takagreen connects suppliers of eco-responsible solutions with buyers to accelerate the ecological transition of organizations. Therefore, our core mission is to strongly contribute to the achievement of some of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), defined as part of the 2030 agenda. Indeed, we can highlight 8 of the 17 objectives in particular:
SDG 3 "Good health and well-being"
To respond to SDG n°3, we have created the “Quality – Hygiene – Safety” theme, which brings together solutions allowing organizations to: comply with regulations, protect their employees and promote their well-being, etc.
Internally, we make every effort to ensure that each member of the Takagreen team is motivated, involved and feels good. Some examples of actions that we have implemented: organization of activities between employees such as The Climate Mural, flexible working hours, sports session…
SDG6 "Clean water and sanitation"
To ensure sustainable management of water resources: the section " Water " of our platform brings together a panel of suppliers specializing in water saving, water treatment and water recovery…
At Takagreen we have installed water-saving solutions (such as aerators, water-saving knobs, etc.) that are also used to optimize our daily consumption.
SDG7 "Clean and affordable energy"
Our themes "Electric" "Energies", "Insulation" et "Thermal" bring together suppliers of eco-responsible, innovative and economical solutions. These actors act daily in favor of energy sobriety.
SDG8 “Decent work and economic growth”:
To meet this objective, we have developed a feature on our platform that allows people looking for jobs or internships to send their CV to suppliers who are looking for new talent. Thus, we act on our scale for the development of opportunities and jobs.
SDG11 "Sustainable Cities and Communities"
Many suppliers registered on our platform work with institutions to enable them to sbe part of a sustainable development approach. For example, our “Sustainable Mobility” theme brings together shared mobility solutions, perfectly adapted to local authorities. In addition, our Takagreen platform promotes contacts with local service providers to enable institutions to strengthen the economic fabric of their territory.
SDG12 “Responsible production and consumption”
We can cite our themes “Circular economy”, “Waste management” and “Office automation and IT” which bring together players in reuse, the circular economy, the management of all types of waste, refurbished computer equipment and responsible digital technology... In addition, a multitude of suppliers registered on our platform and classified in other themes offer also products made from recyclable materials or from the circular economy.
SDG14 “Life below water” and SDG15 “Life on land”:
“Biodiversity” is a thematic fully part of our platform. Indeed, the suppliers listed there are specialized in reforestation.
We can also mention our theme “Layout” which brings together suppliers offering solutions for the development of bio-diversity (creation of green spaces, vegetable gardens, beehives, etc.).
Finally, our theme " Waste management " lists players specializing in the management of marine litter to preserve aquatic life.
SDG17: “Partnership for the Goals”
Finally Takagreen is fully aligned with l'ODD17: “Partnership for achieving the goals » because the strength of our platform is facilitate cooperation between eco-responsible solution providers and organizations, and to create links between actors who share the same values. This to scale nationale but also European.
