Who we are

AkuoCoop is the crowdfunding platform of Akuo Energy, France's leading independent producer of distributed and renewable energy. AkuoCoop allows all individuals and companies to co-invest in green energy production plants.

Founded in 2017, AkuoCoop is approved as a Participatory Investment Advisor (CIP) by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers.

At AkuoCoop, you lend directly to projects that interest you for their meaning, for the terms of the loans offered, or for their geographical proximity. You will only find projects with a positive ecological and economic impact, under construction or in operation, supported by Akuo Energy, the first French independent producer of distributed and renewable energy.

Since our launch, we have raised more than 7 million euros thanks to our 4 committed members. We share with them the benefits of projects integrated into the territories, combining industrial synergy, new economic models and respect for the environment.

AkuoCoop is a 100% owned subsidiary of Akuo Energy

Akuo is present across the entire value chain: development, financing, construction and operation. At the end of 2020, Akuo had invested 2,6 billion euros for a total capacity to date of 1,3 GW of assets in operation and under construction and more than 5 GW of projects under development. With more than 350 employees to date, the group, whose head office is in Paris, is established in fifteen countries around the world. Akuo is targeting an overall generation capacity of 3 MW in 500.

Akuo Energy was created in 2007 by the founders of Perfect Wind, who had sold their company's entire wind portfolio (600 MW) a year earlier to Iberdrola. On the strength of this feedback and convinced that the development of renewable energies is inevitable if we want to fight effectively against global warming, Akuo Energy has from the outset given substance to its long-term vision by favoring systematic control of its assets. Combined with particularly innovative engineering at the time to finance its growth, this strategy quickly enabled Akuo Energy to establish itself as the leading independent producer of renewable energy in France.

AkuoCoop allows, thanks to its status, natural and legal persons to subscribe to bond issues et equity investments.

Services and terms

• For investors

AkuoCoop does not charge any fees to the investor, whether in case of failure or success of the collection. All costs relating to the issue are borne by the Issuer. Thus, no performance scenario is mentioned in this document given the absence of costs that could impact the investor.

• For issuing companies

The contract signed between the Issuer and AkuoCoop governs the service provided. For the implementation of the project, the Issuer pays AkuoCoop a commission of the total amount collected. As part of the monitoring and management of the investor community, AkuoCoop also invoices an annual commission to the Issuer.
