Covid-19. What to do with masks after use?
In this period of health crisis due to Covid-19, wearing a mask is compulsory in many places: hospitals, companies, establishments open to the public, streets of certain cities... When it comes to single-use masks, their lifespan is extremely short. So much so that they are thrown away by the hundreds of thousands every day.
The question of their recycling quickly arose, the small Provençal company A4 RECYCLING presents its idea, its solution.
We offer our customers disinfection terminals for masks, but also for any PPE equipment in order to:
– limit the risk of contagion by contact;
– preserve the environment by reducing litter; landfill or landfill;
– play an educational role towards the population, which thus integrates the need to throw away the masks in dedicated places.
These are mobile disinfection terminals equipped with an ultraviolet ray lamp. “When a mask is discarded, it triggers a disinfection cycle. This destroys 98% of viruses and bacteria. Thus, the mask is transformed into inert waste. It can then be collected and recycled in the treatment sector
Our terminals, called Améthyste 300, can be installed in businesses, supermarkets, schools, stations, etc. Any type of ERP. open to the public
