BlueSET has been developing its know-how in water, soil and air phytoremediation since 2009. The ecological sanitation company designs intelligent Ecosystems of Natural Purification®, tailor-made and autonomous, based on the principle of bio-mimicry (reproduction of the purifying functions of Natural Wetlands).

BlueSET phyto-purification is a process that makes it possible to recover wastewater as a real resource. All BlueSET purification plants are made to measure and guarantee optimal purification performance, in accordance with the strictest European standards.

These performances are ensured thanks to the composition of the filters, meticulously adapted for each project. In addition, the system is the only one whose performance increases over time (plants becoming more and more robust).

Beyond treating domestic effluents, BlueSET solutions are also intended for non-domestic effluents. As they are designed, the EEN® (Natural Purification Ecosystem)  also make it possible to purify industrial effluents*, rainwater runoff, leachate and bathing water. Finally, the benefits of this ecological technique also apply to the ground and the air.

*It is even capable of treating more critical effluents such as pig manure, water loaded with hydrocarbons, drug molecules, chemical agents, heavy metals, etc. (see BlueSET press kit).

How BlueSET phytopurification works:

The BlueSET company recreates a living, natural and autonomous ecosystem via filters made up of around ten varieties of plants, all with different purifying capacities.
In addition, the plants come directly from local biodiversity, allowing total adaptation to the environment and climate (it also holds the label: "local plant").

The clean water at the outlet can therefore be discharged into the natural environment or reused. Here is a diagram of the filters making up the EEN®:
