Thanks to this unique patented technology, we can determine the activity trends of cyanobacteria and toxic microalgae in ponds, lakes, reservoirs, rivers, catchment sites, or aquaculture production. With an appropriate temporal resolution, it is then possible to follow the dynamics of the microbial population and to predict the occurrence or decline of a bloom, like a “weather report” of water quality.
