Located in the south-west of France, our company Ouateco is an eco-responsible family SMI.

We offer a new committed and virtuous vision of the production of eco-materials for the building industry in order to help our society evolve towards practices that respect human beings and our environment.

SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN ACTION

– Construction, in 2010, of a unique “positive energy” biosourced industrial building, insulated with our French cellulose wadding, reducing the carbon impact of production.

– Purchase and implementation of a Finnish production process that guarantees ecological insulation of very high thermal quality and a lifespan of 50 years. Our cellulose wadding makes it possible to obtain 12 hours of phase shift in summer and 26% savings in heating on your bills in winter (values ​​measured In Situ).

– Local paper collection which supports the social and solidarity economy. Ouateco insulation is the only cellulose wadding produced with clean materials, exclusively from the South-West of France and the Basque Country, purchased from partner associations such as Emmaus and Landes Partage. We guarantee a circular approach which allows us to obtain fibers of very high quality, breathable, which differentiates us from other insulators.
