PIM MOBILITY – From carpooling to public transport

350 About 5123.35 km Since 2 years

Description

To claim to develop the practice of shared mobility for the benefit of daily travel, it is essential to work on different components:

   - Master the territorial organization and its interplay of actors: the inventory of road traffic, the public transport offer present and its breaks in load, the definition of passenger profiles and their practical/psychological brakes, the identification stakeholders, consideration of the local and inter-territorial socio-economic context. link to the Diagnosis page.

-Develop multimodal pick-up locations, for 2 main reasons: to promote spatial proximity of the modes of transport available on site, facilitating modal shift, and to mesh the territory into a network, so as to offer an offer with a satisfactory level of service on selected strategic routes. link to the Mobility Hubs page.

-Have a digital support at the service of travellers: the interoperability of different transport offers, old and new, allows good referral and continuity of modes on the route selected by the user. Link to Mobility Hubs page

-Animate a community of service users: recruitment of the first users, creation of community cohesion, acquisition of the service by travellers. »
