The Smart BAM is an ecological, connected and easy-to-use mosquito control solution!

This mosquito trap simulates the presence of a human being and works in 3 stages:

– Diffusion of recycled CO2 to imitate human breathing
– Emanation of the olfactory lure reproducing the body odor of a human
– Capture the mosquito by aspiration

The trap reduces mosquito nuisance by up to 88% over a radius of up to 60 meters outdoors. The terminal does basic work to reduce mosquito nuisance. It captures the female mosquito in its adult form, preventing it from laying its 200 eggs every 48 hours. Thus, the quantity of eggs laid is quickly limited and the number of mosquitoes decreases day by day. BAM only captures female mosquitoes without impacting the rest of the food chain and the environment. It has a selectivity rate of 99,8%.

The BAM is also a unique monitoring tool, capable of providing real-time mosquito population volumes captured associated with environmental data and in a geolocated manner.

Depending on the needs, two terminal models are available:

– the SMART BAM for individuals or private use
– the URBAN SMART BAM for communities or public use
