Founded in 2018, after two engineers met at COP23 in Bonn, TechnoCarbon® is a startup born to create a new path towards sustainable architecture, industry and cities.
Thanks to its innovative CarbonFibreStone® (CFS®) technology, TechnoCarbon® has developed and patented a family of high-performance materials. Solutions designed to offer a credible alternative to traditional materials that limits greenhouse gas emissions, protects the climate, biodiversity and natural resources.
Fabric
CFS® is a stone-carbon fiber sandwich composite material. It is cooked at low temperature. The stone can be replaced by other minerals (glass, ceramics, recycled materials) allowing, in the long term, to create new products that are more economical or even more durable.
It is a family of composite materials whose manufacture has a carbon footprint 90% lower than that of traditional materials.
TECHNOLOGY
CFS® solutions respond to new ecological challenges in architecture, building engineering, civil engineering, public planning and facilities (urban furniture), industry, real estate and hotels.
