WE DO GOOD is a Nantes-based company certified B Corp, a pioneer in raising funds through royalties.
Through the democratization of investment in exchange for royalties, WE DO GOOD aims for a finance that is more accessible, human and connected to the needs of companies and territories.
Raising funds through royalties makes it possible to mobilize investors without going into debt or selling capital shares. The funded structures undertake to pay a percentage of their turnover (royalties) to their investors on a quarterly basis, for a fixed period.
This is equity financing (between €10 and €000) to leverage, suitable for all types of sectors (B300C, B000B, B2B2C), from the creation of the company.
A financing model adapted to transition projects
Innovation is at the heart of transition projects. However, today, both institutional players and banks take less and less risk and do not offer enough financing solutions for priming, prototyping, social innovation, micro-projects. Venture capital, loans and subsidies are rather channeled towards low-risk projects, offering technological innovations or "unicorn" start-ups, which are highly publicized but not very innovative.
Entrepreneurs are led to open their capital very early on to external players and therefore to put the financial interests of investors before their vision and their values.
However, the transition will be made up of a diversity of innovations and projects, large and small, carried out by multiple players and seeking the common good. Investing in these projects is the key to the transition and raising royalties is an ethical and transparent response to this need.
