Founded in 2014 by two energy engineers aware of climate issues, Mini Green Power (MGP), has developed a technology for the recovery of biomass residues such as the ligneous fraction of green waste and used or soiled wood and solid fuels from recovery (CSR) from refusals of selective sorting or ordinary industrial waste.
MGP, a company with a mission, is thus part of a short energy circuit approach contrary to major projects which concentrate risks and impose significant upstream and downstream transport costs, or other negative externalities often poorly assessed in the models.
MGP's technology is highly differentiated by its ability to consume fuels that are extremely variable in energy content (pci), or in humidity, on a small scale (from 0,5MWth to 7MWth). This flexibility is made possible by an innovative combustion architecture and highly digitized combustion control systems, based on massive data processing. This capacity is unique on this scale and gives operators the choice of sourcing the most interesting fuel locally and thus accessing cheaper renewable energy, on demand.
MGP solutions fill a lack of supply in several segments, and will finally allow medium-sized industries and communities to enter into a circular economy and positive energy territory approach.
In this sense, MGP makes an important contribution to the energy transition. MGP also stimulates the creation of value and jobs for the local economy, both in the transformation of waste into fuel and in the local recovery of fuel.
